Hotel Portofino

While trying to keep Danioni at bay and preparing for the arrival of her father and sister, Bella is stunned when Cecil arrives unannounced and asks her for a divorce. As Bella considers what to do, Alice sees Carlo with another woman, and Constance meets new, charming local, Vito. But Bella’s decision about divorce becomes more complex when Cecil tells her she must publicly admit to adultery.

After Marco proposes to her, Bella discusses with Claudine what to do about her future. Constance dates Vito and tells him about Tommy. Alice is outraged when Carlo rejects her advances. Bella confesses her feelings to Marco and finally tells her family about the divorce. Meanwhile, Betty’s impending nuptial celebrations are interrupted by the shocking return of Lucian, Billy, and a new visitor.

Bella notices Lucian is not himself. When Lucian is cold towards Constance, she grows closer to Vito. After learning her father might pull his investment from the hotel, Bella goes into business with Claudine. Cecil learns a final dark truth about Danioni but as Cecil and Bella put their arguments to bed, the family is shocked to hear about the Wall Street Crash.

After Wall Street Crash, knowing she might lose the hotel, Bella desperately tries to get her new business venture started, whilst Cecil is visited by a ghost from his past. Alice tries to conquer her fear of horses, whilst Lucian finally realises he loves Constance, but it comes too late. Filled with emotion, Lucian takes his anger out on a kidnapped Antonio and discovers information about Nish.

Despair hits as Lucian, Virat and Marco discover Nish’s body. In his grief, Lucian begs Constance to run away with him, leaving her to choose between Vito and him. Alice proves her love to Carlo but realises he’s been manipulating her. Shaken by Nish’s death, Bella patches up relationship with her sister and comes clean about Marco. But Bella has no idea that Danioni has plans for Marco too.

On the day of Claudine’s party, Bella gives her presentation to try and get a grant from Monsieur Fleury. Cecil readies his deadly plot against Danioni, but Jack double-crosses him. Lucian makes to run away with Constance, as Cecil tries to kill Danioni himself but gets caught. As Bella wins the grant, a grief-stricken Virat rushes in with a stolen gun to kill Danioni. A deadly shootout occurs.
