Lolo and Summer's worst nightmare comes true when they are locked in jail. Akhona goes into hiding at a motel, but her stay there is short as she is found, resulting in a shootout with the police, and Raphael comes to her rescue.

Akhona is ready to start her new life with Raphael and her daughter, but trouble comes knocking on their door when Dragon finds them, resulting in another shootout with fatal consequences.

With Sis'Pinkie dead, Akhona and Raphael manage to escape, but they soon discover Raphael has been shot. Akhona is caught between a rock and a hard place when she drives into a police roadblock with Dragon driving behind her and the police ahead of her.

With Akhona arrested and starting to sing like a bird for her deal and freedom, not only does she threaten the cartel's life, but that of Sabelo too, as his secret life of being a dirty cop is exposed.

At Trial, Akhona fails to deliver evidence that will nail Dragon, and the state thinks all is lost until an unexpected witness comes forward. Meanwhile, Summer and Lolo cannot believe that they are in jail for ten years and worry about their families and Akhona’s betrayal.

After the failed attempt on her son Nkosi’s life, Dragon fears for his life. He is determined to testify. Will Dragon change her plea to guilty to save her son?

Dragon arrives in prison to an eager audience of her enemies headed by Skolpad, who has a score to settle. Another inmate, Mumsy comes up with a plan to get rid of Skolpad. Lolo receives heartbreaking news.

Lolo struggles to deal with the news of her father's death. Prison tensions rise when Skolpad and Summer team up to take down Summer and Akhona in a fight to the death that ends with one of them in prison fighting for their life.

While in sickbay, Akhona stumbles upon some information she thinks can help her get out of prison. Lolo wants nothing to do with it until she learns there is money involved. The plan to bring in summer backfires until Summer has a change of heart.

The trio derive a plan on how to escape, but they realize they need another person. Mumsy's parole hearing is canceled for the next two years following her recent behavior, so she finds herself joining the escape gang and offers them the poison they need.

Akhona tries to get Summer and Lolo to agree to a deal with Terrence, securing their release from prison. Summer, Lolo, and Akhona return to their families. Dragon fears for her life when she refuses to be discharged from the sick bay to return to her cell.

Dragon is discharged from the sickbay and into Skolpad's cell. When Skolpad tries to kill her, Dragon shows her bravado. Akhona's family is disappointed in her return to a life of crime. Akhona makes a decision that might have dire consequences.

Akhona, Lolo, and Summer learn just how ruthless Terrence is when all their lives are in danger, with him threatening to kill all of them. In the end, it is Lolo who shows great shooting skill when she shoots Terrence and Noyise gets to make her arrest.
