I Am Jazz

Jazz travels to New York for a third surgery to correct defects caused by complications during her gender confirmation surgery. While in New York Jazz attends the premiere of a film she starred in. The Jennings family celebrate the twins' 21st birthday.

Jazz recovers from cosmetic revision surgery, but a month later, she faces another complication. Jeanette worries about Jazz choosing Pomona over Harvard. After breaking up with Ahmir, Jazz tries to make it work with Victoria, and Sander comes along, too.

Jazz finds out that JoJo's grandmother will not support JoJo having top surgery; Jeanette celebrates her 53rd birthday with a consultation from a plastic surgeon; Jazz's feelings about Pomona College clash with her parents' desire for her to pick Harvard.

Jazz heads to New York for a consultation on a possible 4th surgery with Dr Ting; Jazz appears on "What Would You Do?" and faces trans deniers; A skeptical Jazz tours Harvard with her parents but is not convinced it's a better choice than Pomona College.

Jazz is committed to helping Noelle raise the $25,000 necessary to have gender confirmation surgery and puts together a drag show. Later, Jazz and Jeanette intervene with Grandma Nora for JoJo's breast augmentation, leading to disastrous results.

The big show to help Noelle raise money arrives after weeks of planning and rehearsals. When Jazz leaves for Harvard, the Jennings will be empty nesters and Jeanette looks to unload the house in favor of a new start.

Jazz becomes increasingly anxious about delivering her valedictorian speech at graduation and collapses in despair two hours before the ceremony. After some soul searching and likely arm-twisting from Grandma, JoJo puts the breast augmentation on hold.

With repeated meltdowns, anxiety attacks and an eating disorder out of control, Greg and Jeanette give Jazz a spiritual retreat in hopes that she will learn how to cope with daily stresses. Jazz and Jeanette join Noelle and her family for the surgery.
