Icelandic Formula Off-Road

Prepare to be blown away by some of the most extreme off-road action in the world! These custom-built, paddle-tire-wielding vehicles stop at nothing to conquer the volcanic, black sand mountainsides of Iceland. The 2016 season of Icelandic Formula Offroad competition continues right now on a course near the city of Akranes, Iceland. This is one of the most competitive seasons in the 50-year history of Formula Offroad racing, with many skilled novices and returning veterans competing in Stock and Unlimited Classes. For Round 3 of the 2016 Icelandic Formula Offroad Championship, we head to the town of Egilsstaðir on the banks of the Lagarfljót River.
