Hanae, a plain, unlucky office worker who has never had a boyfriend and is still a virgin at thirty. With no romance in her life, everything changes when she ends up alone with Tanokura, a college student from her department. He surprises her on her birthday and they spend the night together. With the cheating rumor cleared, Hanae receives a spare key from Tanokura. Her next challenge is introducing him to her parents. She hides the fact that he is a college student, and a mix-up leads her father to think Asao is her boyfriend. Hanae is thrilled that her parents now approve of her relationship with Tanokura. She meets his junior, Hirono, who asks for love advice, only to reveal she likes Tanokura. Hearing her sincere feelings, Hanae cannot say she is his girlfriend, which leads to a fight with Tanokura. Hanae is seen on a date with Tanokura by Oshiro, the most talkative coworker. She panics, sure their relationship will spread, but he keeps the secret and even worries about their future, since Tanokura plans to enter graduate school.
