In the not-too-distant future, two young women, must struggle to survive after a mysterious continent-wide power cut. Lacking electricity and gasoline, the sisters find themselves isolated in a run-down country house. Their only connection to society comes from the frantic radio reports of breakdowns, terrorism, disease and uncontrolled violence that grip the nation.
