In the season premiere of "It's A Beautiful World," Jeff Fuchs travels to Guatemala's Petén Department to explore the ancient Maya site of Holmul. He also visits a former convent that has been transformed into a hotel and museum, showcasing the region's deep history and culture.

In this episode, chef Mirciny Moliviatis shows us how to cook a traditional Guatemalan dish, and we explore a local street market. We meet Juan Pablo Fuentes, who's transforming education with his student-first approach.

Jeff meets a family in Sololá who started a weaving cooperative to create jobs for those in need. Together with Mirciny, he visits Santa Catarina Palopó to explore a community painting project that's boosted local tourism.

Continuing our journey in Santa Catarina Palopó, we help install a stove in a local home, providing a safer alternative to open-flame cooking. We also visit a school dedicated to educating Mayan girls, who often lack access to further education.

In the season finale, Jeff travels to Lake Atitlán to meet Juan Baldomero, a local fisherman dedicated to preserving the lake through sustainable practices. Baldomero takes the team fishing, and Jeff learns to make tamales with Mirciny.
