In 1942, Ivan Bojko was taken by the nazis from his village in Ukraine into forced labor in Germany. In 1948, during the World War II refugee movement, he migrated to Brazil and was never able to return to Ukraine. 68 years later, the film registers the 91-year-old man finally visiting his homeland in a touching journey into the past.
