Bradley Meredith impersonates his brother, Dr. John Meredith, who is murdered by Latimer. Nyoka, Dr. Meredith's daughter, is the rightful heiress to the Lion Amulet.

Nyoka impersonates the Lion Goddess to regain the sacred Amulet from Shamba. Shamba discovers the ruse and condemns Nyoka to die by fire. Kimbu warns Stanton of Nyroka's danger.

Latimer agrees to deliver Nyoka to Shamba in return for the Nakros diamonds. Kimbu witnesses Nyoka's capture by Shamba's men. Stanton and Curly rescue Nyoka from Shamba's village.

Latimer tricks chief Lutembi in order to get the Nakro's diamonds. Lutembi steals the planes gasoline to keep the White Doctor from leaving Kairobi. Curly discovers the gasoline.
