In 1982, André Bamberski learns of his daughter Kalinka’s death during a trip with her mother and stepfather in Germany. Convinced it wasn't accidental, he suspects Dr. Krombach. A flawed autopsy raises more doubts. Unable to indict him in Germany, Bamberski pushes for a trial in France and devotes his life to bringing Krombach to justice.
