The Kara family is held in high esteem in the working-class district in which they live, and the father - Nazif is seen as a "Karadeh" - the godfather of the area, whom people turn to for advice and assistance in their time of need. Unfortunately, the family's life is turned upside down due to an unlawful accusation that leads to Nazif Kara being imprisoned for a murder he did not commit.
