The story begins with Appalaraju (Sunil) who dreams of becoming a director and pens a script with tragedy story. He comes to Hyderabad to join the film industry. Appalaraju starts his mission. Meanwhile, Appalaraju's new challenge comes in the form of financier Srisailam Anna (Brahmanandam,) a don with a passion for writing lyrics. Whether he scores a hit or not forms the rest of the story.
