Killers Behind Bars

This episode focuses on Steve Wright 'The Suffolk Strangler.' In February 2008, Wright was sentenced to life for the murder of 5 women who worked as prostitutes in Ipswich, Suffolk. His brutal crime spree lasted just 3 months, and the judge sentencing him recommended that he should never be released from prison.

This episode focuses on Peter Tobin. Tobin has been convicted of murdering three young girls in 1991 & 2006, however, reports suggest he has boasted of killing at least 48, which would make him a more prolific killer than the Yorkshire Ripper, Fred West, and Dennis Nielson combined.

In 2011, Robert Black was sentenced to life in prison for the murder of nine-year-old Jennifer Cardy, a crime he committed in 1981. As the judge sentenced him to life behind bars, he revealed that Black was already serving 3 life sentences for 3 other horrific child murders committed during the 1980s along with a host of attempted abductions.
