Knots Landing

Paige attends Pierce's arraignment, to make sure he isn't freed on bail. While Sumner is on a camping trip, Anne tells him she's pregnant. Val disappears in Florida. Mary is Meg's grandmother.

Sumner proposes to Anne. Mary Robeson asks for a court hearing to get visitation rights with Meg. Kate and Alex Barth make love. Kate finds Alex in the shower with Vanessa.

Mack is concerned about his daughters--he's got to console Paige about the Sumner marriage; he's got to tell Meg she's adopted. Gary returns from Florida without finding his wife. Anne learns she's not pregnant.

In court, Mary Robeson wins supervised visitation rights of Meg. Nick Schillace seduces Claudia. Gary flies to Florida to investigate a clue about his wife's disappearance and is involved in a dangerous car chase with kidnappers.

Gary tells the twins that Valene was killed in a car accident. Everyone attends the funeral. The next day Sumner and Anne get married. Paige makes love to baseball player Bill Nolan.

Paige regrets that Bill Nolan spent the night. Nick continues to seduce Claudia. Vanessa and Nick share a secret from their past. Mack is ready to agree to the Robesons' money demands.

Mack plans to end the Robesons' threats by borrowing one million dollars from The Sumner Group. Bill Nolan is offered a large sum of money to play baseball for a team in Tokyo. His main concern is Paige, whom he loves.

Mack learns that the recording he did of his transactions with Mary Robeson is unusable. Vanessa tries to blackmail Anne.

Karen and Paige learn that Mack gave Mary one-half million dollars. Paige's former lover, Tom Ryan, is in charge of the murder investigation. Anne refuses to be blackmailed by Vanessa.

Mack dismisses his lawyer and refuses to see Karen. Paige learns Claudia embezzled from The Sumner Group. Tom courts Paige.

When Mack is released on bail, he tries to find investigators to help him. Claudia must replace the missing money. Gary and Kate become romantic.

Karen learns that Mack has left town with Gary, looking for murder clues. Paige charms Tom Ryan and together they arrest Joe Robeson.

Mack and Gary return from Florida with news about who killed Val and Mary. Mack and Karen argue. Joe Robeson is released from jail, only to be found dead later. Nick has Claudia launder money through The Sumner Group.

Sumner schemes to take back control of The Sumner Group. Nick warns Claudia about leaving The Sumner Group while his associates still need her there.

Claudia takes care of Kate while Tom investigates Kate's accident. Nick persuades Claudia not to leave The Sumner Group, but Paige now holds the majority of shares.

Vanessa tells Nick she thinks Tom is working for Treadwell. Vanessa seduces Tom. Lonely Anne kidnaps Sumner's thoroughbred horse for ransom money.

Treadwell returns, eager to have Sumner shot, Nick beaten, and a bomb placed on The Sumner Group jet. Karen and Mack reconcile.

Valene is alive and in Knots Landing! Sumner and Tom search for Treadwell. Nick asks Abby for help. Tom asks Paige to marry him.

Abby tells Sumner she wants The Sumner Group. Vanessa shoots Treadwell. The MacKenzies and Ewings get their marriages back together. Anne and Sumner end their marriage.
