30. November 202411 Min.Chimaji Appa was a great warrior, born in 1707. He was the younger brother of Peshwa Bajirao. In the year 1737, he pledged to free Konkan from the Portuguese and their atrocities. 30. November 202412 Min.Chimaji Appa laid a siege to capture Vasai Fort. He strategically cut off supplies to the Vasai Fort and made his way towards the fort by digging tunnels against all odds. He was finally successful and in May 1739. His book called The Indian War of Independence about the Indian Rebellion of 1857 was banned by the British. 30. November 202411 Min.Veer Savarkar attempted to escape from the ship SS Morea and seek asylum in France while the ship was docked at Marseilles. He was sentenced to Cellular jail, where he faced inhuman British atrocities. After his release from the cellular jail in 1921, he developed the ideology of Hindutva while at Ratnagiri jail. November 202412 Min.Born at the Suvarnadurg fort in Ratnagiri in 1669, Kanhoji Angre rose to the ranks of "Sarkhel', the commander in chief of the Navy due to his feats of attacking and capturing British, Mughal and the Portuguese ships. The British and the Portuguese joined hands to defeat Kanhoji, but was no match to Kanhoji's skill, intelligence and strategies. Rise in discontent towards the British colonial rule in the backdrop of the non-cooperation movement (1920-1922) led Alluri Sitarama Raju to rebel against the British. 30. November 202411 Min.Saraswathi Rajamani was born in a very rich family in Rangoon, Burma (Myanmar) in 1927. Inspired by Subhash Chandra Bose at a very tender age of 16, she donated all her jewellery to the INA. She was recruited to the Rani Jhansi regiment of the INA in the intelligence wing in the year 1943. King Chakradhwaj of Ahom kingdom had appointed him as the commander in chief of the Ahom army to retake Guwahati from the Mughals.
