The shop's growing and keeping it running smoothly has everyone stressed out. Kat needs more help, but she struggles with whether to hire another friend as manager. Rocker Dave Navarro visits Kat for a pin-up style portrait memorializing his mom.

Hannah attempts to transform the crew at the shop into larger-than-life comic book characters. Naheed Simjee has her work cut out for her with the serious business of managing the shop while trying to bond with the crew at the same time.

Kat Von D and her crew get to rock it out at Motley Crue. Kat gets a surprise visit from her guy, Motley Crue musician Nikki Sixx, who wants a portrait of his friend and fellow band member Mick Mars.

Kat scores the cover of Latina magazine and takes the magazine's reporter, along with her brother and sister, to her hometown for a trip down Von D memory lane. Phenomenal booty model, Elke the Stallion, asks Corey for a special set of wings.

Corey loves the environment at the shop, but his long commute is keeping him from his kids. Kat tattoos rapper The Game, who's thinking about quitting music to be a family man. Then, Kat gives Jason a portrait of his baby daughter who recently passed.

When Kat and her fellow smokers in the shop decide to kick the habit, they seek the help of a hypnotist. Singer Yolanda Perez shares her struggle with being a single mom, and Kat brings a photo of Don's wife to life.

Kim seizes the opportunity of a lifetime when she's approached by a shoe manufacturer to provide artwork for their new line. Corey and Hannah discover the need for speed when they hook up with the nation's top female rally car driver.

Kat's up against a tight deadline on her latest project -- a book about her art -- and she's still got some important things to get done. Then, Matt Bradley from Discovery's "Deadliest Catch" steps off his fishing boat and into the shop.

Naheed crosses a line when Kat gives her a heavy metal momma on a black horse with razor teeth on her forearm. Then, a world-famous architect isn't too sure he wants a tattoo and isn't certain Hannah's up to doing his very complicated artwork!

Kat signs up for a big project outside the tattoo shop: redecorating her musician boyfriend Nikki Sixx's recording studio, Funny Farm. Kim gives soap actor Kristoff St. John a philosophical tattoo to remind him what makes him strong.

Kat tattoos rock legend Lemmy from Motorhead. Hannah spends some quality time with her daughter and tries to sort out the past. When Kat's little brother joins the crew, she plans a killer party to welcome him back to Los Angeles.

Nikki Sixx's work with Covenant House inspires Kat to get involved, but she stresses out when planning a benefit goes down to the wire. Olympic soccer star Natasha Kai stops by the shop to show off the gold, and Corey dedicates a tattoo to his son.

Kat puts Naheed in charge of throwing a party for the whole crew to celebrate the one-year anniversary of the shop. Kim asks Hannah to tattoo her for the first time, and Nick Wheeler from the All-American Rejects stops by for a portrait of his puppy dog.
