Ted (Michael Keaton) is a former professor who has since found his calling in sales. When fresh-faced Ohio native Jamie (Brendan Fraser) arrives at the firm eager to acclimate to life in the big city, cynical Ted greets the cub salesman with a palpable sense of scorn. Ted soon rediscovers a lust for life, however, after falling for Jamie's fiancee.
