Drunken mother, lousy job, baby sister relying on her, 18-year-old Sarah has more problems than most. When she meets Tom, she thinks her prayers have been answered, but her life only gets worse. She moves in with him, and gets a crash course in the modern youth scene: rave parties, Ecstasy and euphoria. It's fun, until she sees its darker side and a crisis at home forces her to make a choice.
