The first group of eight anglers compete in Shotgun round 1. The winner will advance to the Sudden Death round, the remaining seven will carry over their weight to the Elimination round. kwbass

The second group of eight anglers compete in Shotgun round 2. The winner will advance to the Sudden Death round, the remaining seven will carry over their weight to the Elimination round. kwfishing

Seven anglers carry their weights over from the Shotgun round to compete in Elimination round 1. The top three will advance to the Sudden Death Round, the bottom four will be eliminated.

Seven anglers carry their weights over from the Shotgun round to compete in Elimination round 2. The top three will advance to the Sudden Death Round, the bottom four will be eliminated.

Eight anglers have survived the Elimination rounds and will face off in the Sudden Death round. The first six anglers to reach the target weight, will advance to the Championship round.

Six anglers compete for the Johnny Morris Award and the title of Major League Fishing's General Tire World Champion.
