Saleema (Rubina Ashraf) is an over-possessive mother who wants all of her children to get married according to her own will. Written by Nasreen Nizami and directed by Syed Muhammad Khurram, Manjhdhar narrates the story of a woman who destroys the lives of her own children in order to rule over the house. Daniyal comes over to Nimra's house as soon as Nimra tells Daniyal that she is soon getting married. Alizeh and Arsalan are scolded for being late.

Daniyal promises to marry Nimra however he finds out that Saleema has gone to Lahore to fix Daniyal's marriage with her niece. Ujala comes back to her home after having a fight with Mansoor.

Saleema is confident about Daniyal's marriage to Naushaba however Daniyal tells her about his decision to marry Nimra. Saleema gets furious and asks Nimra to stay away from Daniyal.

In efforts to stay away Danish, Alizeh leaves her current job while Nimra moves abroad without informing Daniyal.

Ujala blames her in-laws for being unwell meanwhile Saleema pays her a visit. Daniyal is upset about being away from Nimra.

Unable to forget Nimra, Daniyal is losing his senses while Saleema is upset with Daniyal's condition. After witnessing Daniyal's mental state, Naushaba backs out however Saleema is adamant about finding a good proposal for Daniyal.

Danish and Durain take Daniyal to the hospital for check-up however Daniyal goes missing. Saleema is worried about her son while Danish musters the courage to talk about ALizeh to Saleema.

Danish and Alizeh get married however Saleema isn't happy with this union. Saleema stops Danish, Durain, and Roshni from going out.

Saleema misbehaves with ALizeh and blames her for disrupting the management of her house. Danish is unable to choose between his mother and his wife.

While discussing Alizeh, Danish and Saleema have an argument while Masood is skeptical of Ujala's behavior.

To cause disruption in Daniyal and Alizeh's life, Saleema plays a trick by using Daniyal. Daniyal's disappearance leads to unnecessary tension in the household.

Saleema continues with her evil tricks by casting black magic on Alizeh as she falls ill. Later Saleema finds out about the wealth acquired by Nimra from her parents.

After instigating Danish against Alizeh, Saleema feels satisfied. Roshni and Alizeh are worried about Daniyal's health.

Danish decides to celebrate the birthday of Alizeh at home however Saleema finds out about the plan and makes sure to ruin it. Durain and Arsala take one step further.

Daniyal is upset as he is unable to forget Nimra while Durain and Arsala are busy planning their future together. Roshni lies to Saleema and takes her to college.

Mansoor surprises Ujala by installing an air conditioner in the house. Saleema's greed towards Alizeh's money rises and she asks Alizeh to get the money from her aunt.

Roshni is concerned about Alizeh's aunt as she stops giving them money. Danish is worried about Alizeh and decides to visit her.

Ujala wants Saleema to forgive Alizeh however Saleema accuses her of stealing her gold bangles. The family is concerned regarding the mental health of Daniyal.

The family finds out the real thief while Daniyal misses the time spent with Nimra. Mansoor warns Ujala regarding his job security.

In efforts to save Mansoor's job, Ujala decides to do take help from her mother however Mansoor doesn't like it. Alizeh is worried about the health of Daniyal and wants to give him some medicines.

After Mansoor loses his job, Ujala asks for some money from Saleem and his brothers however they refuse to help her. Ujala gets into a fight with Mansoor over dinner.

Durain asks Saleema to visit Arsalna for a proposal however she refuses. Everyone in the family wants Durain and Arsalna to get married and are busy convincing Ujala. Mansoor's mother advises his son to not fight with Ujala anymore.

Mansoor is devastated as Ujala takes an unfortunate step. Saleema is angry at Ujala's in-laws while Danish and Masood make a plan to convince the family.
