Mazu

The son of the East Sea Dragon King, Ya Zi, was a fierce, aggressive and revengeful youngster who liked to injure the innocent people who went into the sea. Barefoot Immortal reported it to the Jade Queen. She asked Barefoot Immortal to find a talented, righteous and courageous child in the living world and train him/her to be the future God of the Ocean to suppress all danger in the ocean.

Barefoot Immortal found the young child Lin Moniang as the chosen one and started to train her with knowledge, wisdom and magical powers. Meanwhile, Ya Zi's secret training on the forbidden magic failed and became a monstrous fish as a result.

Lin Moniang had grown up with the ability to understand and predict weathers which helped fishers from falling into the raging sea. With the help of Gods, she also gained the ability to pop her soul out of the body and save people in the sea. Being able to save lives, she became an instant favorite of the villagers.

Lin Mo warned the villagers not to sail and fish on a bright day. The villagers did not listen, they have been fishing on this day over years without a problem.

Lin Mo was sad and blame herself that she could not stop the villagers from sailing. Goddess Guanyin offered her a magical mirror to predict the weather.

Lin Mo was captured by sea beast Jia Ying and Jia You in the Deman Island, But she escapes with her wisdom.

Lin Mo studied from fairies and Buddha and have an increase in wisdom and more determination to help the fishermen.

Pu Tian was having a disaster and the bad businessmen kept the food from the market. The Villagers were all starving to death. Lin Mo came out to help.

Lin Mo defeated the sea beast and revealed the corrupted official Wan Shiqi.

Lin Mo was captured and framed by Wan Shiqi. She put her hope to report to the royal court.

Lin Mo was unable to defeat Ya Zi because she was drunk, Yang Shengquan sacrificed for Lin Mo and almost died.

Yang Shengquan was able to wake up but he lost his memory, he does not get close with Lin Mo anymore.

The Pirates were forcing the villager to death, Lin Yuan led the villager to defeat them.

Lin Mo went to the pirates and taught them to become kind and normal villagers again.

Bi Han pretended Yang Shengquan to trick Lin Mo. He told Lin Mo that Yang Shengquan was actually the prince of the dragon palace.

Queen Zhen asked the Dragon King to take a rest and made him agree to build a luxurious palace. Lin Mo agrees to marry Wu Zonglun.

Wu Zonglun and Lin Mo got married and both doing good deeds by reporting corruption to the royal court and saving villagers.

Lin Mo saved a foreign commercial ship, in order to save the world, Lin Mo and Wu Zonglun decided to learn a foreign language.

Lin Mo got in to the Mysterious Island and was trapped by sea beast. Gui Hua revealed that Lin Mo told her to marry Wu Zonglun if one day she dies.

Wang Shiqi was finally imprisoned and Wu Zonglun became the official. Yan Gong attacked the villagers and Lin Mo defeated him.

Lin Mo was defeated and passed away by Ya Zi. The Villagers were all sad and built temple for her and named her the Goddess of the Sea.

Lin Mo became Mo Zu as The Jade Emperor and Buddha agreed to canonize Lin Mo as the Goddess of the Sea.

Ma Zu defeated Ya Zi and saved a foreign ship, Captain Carter thank and worship Ma Zu.

Mo Ersi was a demon who played a lot of women and made them look older. Ma Zu went on to defeat Mo Ersi.
