Mistral's Daughter

Maggy Lunel, young and naïve, arrives in Paris with nothing. She becomes an artist’s model and quickly rises to fame as the toast of the city, drawing the attention of Julien Mistral, a brilliant yet selfish painter who values his art above all else.

Maggy’s daughter Teddy comes of age and falls in love with Julien Mistral, with whom she has a child, Fauve. As the years pass, Mistral reflects on his selfish past and wartime betrayal, channeling it into his art and leaving behind a powerful legacy for Fauve.
