Miya Rodolfo-Sioson is the lone survivor of the the University of Iowa shooting which took place on November 1, 1991. Following her injury she became a quadriplegic, but her disability did not prevent this determined woman from helping others and fighting for their rights. The film portrays her life as an activist and a survivor.
