A woman accidentally stumbles upon her grandfather's secret past, including his work on Nazi science that the Allied victors raced to obtain at the end of WWII in a program called Operation Paperclip. Filmmaker Gerber retraces her grandfather's history to find out more about his 'other life', and asks larger historical questions about early Cold War operations that still remain classified.
