Passionate about his job, Julien (Guillaume Canet) travels a lot abroad. Never home, his absence caused his marriage to blow up a few years ago. During a stopover in France, he discovers a message from his ex-wife, in tears, on the answering machine: their seven-year-old son has disappeared during a mountain camping trip with his class. Julien rushes to look for him and nothing can stop him.
