A brilliant student, Karthik is caught by his headmaster while forging his father’s signature. A visit to the child’s house leads to the exposure of Karthik’s mother’s affair with another man which leads to his father’s suicide. Karthik kills his mother’s lover and ends up in a juvenile home.
