Ninja Cat

The war has ended and peace has arrived. Ninja Kagerouta has been training hard every day since his father went missing. One day, he is assigned an infiltration mission. Upon successfully entering the premises, he encounters a fat, furry cat that looks exactly like his father, Gensai.

Kagerouta brings the cat he named Kinji back to his place. Kagerouta assumes it is his father and tells the cat to return to human form. However, the only response he gets is a "meow". Unfortunately for Kagerouta, the ninja world has a strict “No Cats Allowed” policy. Torame, a colleague, notices that Kagerouta is acting suspiciously...

Kinji seems very stressed out. Stressed to the point that he refuses to even leave the house. Kagerouta's neighbor Sachine gives some advice to him, explaining that, for Kinji's sake, he must communicate with his heart. Soon after, Kagerouta is entrusted with an important mission and asks Kinji to remain at home.

A ninja’s work is never done. Kagerouta seems to be on and endless cycle of recieving and completing missions. He returns home to find the house a mess; the culprit being Kinji. Frustrated by both his workload and Kinji, Kagerouta comes up with an interesting idea.

Thanks to Kinji, Kagerouta’s mission is a success. During the mission, they even made two new comrades. Kagerouta’s next mission gets passed on to his colleague. However, something much more troublesome awaits him.

Kagerouta suffers a serious injury. Though he is alive, he is still very weak. The timing could not be worse as they learn that Kinji is being targeted by someone. While Kagerouta and Tsubame sit together, they remember an incident that happened during their youth.

Tsubame goes missing and Sanosuke helps search for him. During this time, Kinji falls ill and must visit the vet. Unfortunately, Kinji’s medicine is expensive. Without the necessary funds, Kagerouta has an idea on how to make money.

Kagerouta and Kinji see a flyer saying “Lost Cat” while walking around town. The flyer had a description that fit Kinji exactly. Kagerouta reluctantly decides to contact the creator of the flyer.

Kagerouta is depressed now that Kinji isn't with him anymore. Later, Kagerouta finds out about Sanosuke’s crime and confronts him. Sanosuke then brings out Torame’s severed hand.

Kagerouta wakes up in a jail cell next to Kinji. Meanwhile, Hanzo tries to reveal the truth of the crime. However, Sanosuke uses a fire ninja technique and puts Hanzo in a cell as well!

Thanks to Hanzo, Kagerouta escapes from the cell. However, he is immediately pursued by enemies. Kagerouta is the only one who knows where his father is. His enemies are determined to find out where he is...
