Nirbashito

Nirbashito portrays the pain of separation and isolation felt by a writer (Churni Ganguly) similar to Taslima Nasreen, who is banished from her own motherland due to controversial writings against the fundamentalism of religion and patriarchy. As a baby yearns for its mother so does the writer long for her motherland, dramatically shown by the relationship between the writer and her estranged cat.
