As refugees they struggle working in the underbelly of Hollywood until finally breaking into the mainstream with their pivotal contribution to cinema in films like Easy Rider, Five Easy Pieces, Paper Moon, McCabe & Mrs. Miller, Scarecrow, Frances and Deer Hunter.
