On the first part of episode 1, we visited the fairies sanctuary in Itaipava, north of Rio de Janeiro. Founded by Patricia Fitipaldi, a veterinary doctor and activist for animal rights. The Sanctuary is home to over 100 farm animals that have been abandoned on the road and were hopefully found and rescued by Patricia.

We are invited to meet polo and Mika, Cecilia Canetti's labradors. A member of the Brazilian national water polo team, Cecilia is a high level athlete and has always been very fond of sports. She keeps a heathy and active life and, along with her dogs, Cecilia practices stand-up paddle boarding and shares great moments with her best buddies.

By throwing your pet a birthday party, you truly demonstrate how much you love him as he will be able to celebrate it with his closest buddies at a park, at home or at any pet friendly place where they can have lots of fun.

The story of trained pets that will take us through their mission to provide happier and less stressful moments and bring some comfort for hospitalized children at Darcy Vargas public hospital, in São Paulo. They are all part of this unique initiative that has already achieved its goal in helping kids feel better and improve their quality of life while coping with a health problem.

We meet Eduardo Moreira, the most well known Brazilian horse whisperer. Our team went to his farm in Jacareí, São Paulo, to get to know more about this beautiful story of love and friendship that began with a lot of pain. Despite the difficult beginning, Eduardo has never given up trying to understand horses and has learnt the right way to communicate with his animals.

And we continue with the noble horses on the second half of this episode where we follow the daily routine of kids and people affected by some sort of physical, mental or developmental disorder that have found through equine therapy their way to recovery. We thus learn that besides the horse's extremely powerful movements.

On this episode, you will see that having your buddy at your workplace can truly benefit you, your pet and the company as a whole. Our pooches can lower our stress hormones and help make the environment a calmer and more relaxed place.

We meet Henrique Perdigão, a dog behavior consultant who can understand a dog's mind like no one else. Always in search of the root cause of a pet's problem, Henrique teaches us that it's important to take into consideration the entire family before evaluating the dog. Henrique also emphasizes that love, attention and a few hands-on techniques are the right way to educate dogs.

Imagine you could live somewhere surrounded by nature and all sorts of animals. On this episode, we meet actress and model Marcela Peringer who lives on an island and is proud to show us more of her peaceful and funny home, sweet home. We go by boat to her place on Gigoia's Island to hear all of the stories that Marcela has to tell about her pets and her relationship with animals in general.

We are in São Paulo, where we learn how our canine friends are also lifesavers. The São Paulo fire department counts on a very special team to help them find victims buried under the rubble in the aftermath of a disaster or of a collapsed structure.

We tell the story of Dom, a blind great dane that was rescued a year ago by Lara, a veterinary medical student who found Dom on the brink of death. He had been abandoned and Lara didn't think twice when she decided to take him home. Today, Dom is safe and sound and lives a good and comfortable life with his human mom and his other pet siblings, also rescued by Lara.

We meet Pearl. You may say that they are an unusual pet, but the truth is, once you meet Pearl, a cute, clean and stylish mini pig that has swooned thousands of followers on her social network, you will understand her human family's love and devotion! And you'd better believe it, pearl even gets along very well with the other pets that are a part of the family!

We learn about Jaquinha, a talented and very social bird and the feathered son and best friend of Paulo Porto, a passionate breeder that manufactures toys and perches for his joyful birds. It's time to fly with this beautiful love story full of affection, devotion and joy.

And, as we are meeting those people who devote their lives to that unique bond with their pets, here we meet Simone Johann, a pet sitter who loves animals and has always felt better when they are around. That's how she realized that she could turn what seemed to be just a hobby into a dream job and career. So that's exactly what she did.

We are invited to meet Sabine and her lovely pets. Sabine has a passion! A passion for animals. A passion that other have left behind, among them, dogs and cats, all of them rescued from the streets. And they all fit perfectly into her heart and her homes.

We meet Lionel Falcon, Brazil's first professional pet photographer. Born in Argentina, Lionel has two true passions in life, photography and animals. He decided to come to Brazil in the early 90's and to make his passions a reality: snapping animal's portraits, portraying their personalities and making them into natural celebrities.

We hear Johnny's story. Animals are Johnny Duarte's daily source of inspiration. He is well known for his love for animals and fell in love with photography from a very early age. Johnny learnt from his daddy, who used to photograph horses, the magic of capturing an animal's wild nature.

Pet Channel could not miss out on the chance to support a dog adoption event and to witness a life changing movement sponsored by Pedigree. Hundreds of adult and senior dogs from shelters finally found a place that they could now call home. After all, our four-legged buddies just want to find a home full of love.

We get to know Luna. As an adult dog, Luna had few chances of being adopted. But Marize, her future human mama, didn't think twice before taking Luna home and giving her all the love she deserved. We went to Marize's place and there we witnessed how highly adaptable Luna was, easily adjusting to her new life and getting along well with her pet brothers and sisters.
