Police Ten 7

Friday night in Ellerslie, the officers have been alerted to a potential burglary in process. An elderly lady has rung them and alerted them. On arriving at the house, the male appears drunk and says that he's there to see the lady, that he's her friend but the lady doesn't know him. He insists that he knows her, but cant come up with her name.

Constables are on patrol in the South Auckland area when a call comes in about fighting in a shopping centre.

South Auckland constables have been called in to solve a painting dispute between a painting contractor and one of his ex-workers. The contractor claims that one of his ex-workers had stolen brushes, drills, sanders, sandpaper, filler, guns etc… The officers turn up where the ex-worker is working and talk to him about the equipment he's using.

Lower Hutt officers have been alerted to a nearby party involving the mongrel mob and numerous baseball bats. As an informant relays details to coms about the party, the officers head to a safe point. The full team gather up at the safe point and are briefed by the sergeants. The police then head to the party and force themselves onto the property.

West Auckland officers are on night duty when they spot a male speeding past in a vehicle. The officers pick up their speed and are ready to pursuit the vehicle when they turn a corner and see the vehicle pulled over on the side of the road. The male is handcuffed while he explains to the police that his brother has been in a fight and he needs to get to him. He is arrested for dangerous driving.

South Auckland officers respond to a call that says a woman could be in serious trouble. On arrival at the scene the officers realise the woman is definitely in need of some help. She is intoxicated and only just conscious. The female has some cuts to her body but at this stage it is unclear whether she has been attacked or has fallen over herself.

Invercargill police have been called to the scene of a theft at the Video Ezy store. At the scene the offender denies he's taken anything but a search of his bag turns up a number of DVD's and a cannabis pipe. He is taken back to the station and released on bail.
