Basking sharks in the Atlantic, twelve metres long and with a mouth the size of a washing basket? This may sound like fiction designed to scare, but it isn't. We are talking of rare and unique sharks with gill slits that can be half the size of a man, inside of which there is a fish-trapping apparatus with which they catch millions of plankton crabs.
