Amadeus, a citizen of Balthazar Town, had very good hearing. When there was a drought in the town everyone was desperately looking for water. Amadeus was the only one able to hear water bubbling underground. But what happens when he gets some water in his ears and suddenly goes deaf? Professor Balthazar will know what to do.

2. Two Bees or Not Two Bees
Balthazar Town had, as do all towns, an air pollution problem. So Franjo the bee-keeper moved his bees away, in order to prevent them from dying. However, when Professor Balthazar solved the pollution problem a new problem cropped up: the fruit trees were no longer producing fruit due to the absence of the bees. But when Franjo returned to the town with his bees, everything was alright again.
3. Pirates and Lollipops

3. Pirates and Lollipops
The pirate Captain Bobo was too kind-hearted to be a pirate so he found himself left without his ship or crew. Only Kiki the cook stayed with the fallen captain. Together they did all kinds of jobs and lived through all kinds of difficulties until, with the help of Professor Balthazar, they became valued citizens of Balthazar Town. However, they did keep some of their pirate ways.

4. Lion's Share
There is very little shade in deserts and lions just love to sit in the shade. But in the shade of just one palm tree, there's not enough room for two lions. Professor Balthazar solves this problem too.
5. Maxol

5. Maxol
Maxi the gardener is suffering because nothing in his garden and orchard will grow tall. Only his twin sons are growing taller and taller, and he can no longer manage to feed or clothe them. Professor Balthazar invents Maxol - a strange liquid which makes Maxi's fruit grow to gargantuan size.

Rudi the retired scientist believed there was a monster in the town lake, like the one in Lochness. He believed in this but had no proof. Professor Balthazar found a way to lure the monster onto the surface of the lake. From then on, the monster Fu-Fu, Rudi and Professor Balthazar became very good friends.

7. Cloudy with Brawlstorms
The threatening cloud which has floated over Balthazar Town is causing frayed tempers, anger and rudeness. Everyone is continually quarreling. So Professor Balthazar flies up to the cloud in his new tea-pot flying machine and sprays it with a liquid which melts and destroys it. The frayed tempers come to an end - and good humor reigns once again in the town.

8. Pepino Cicerone
Pepino the Stork was very inquisitive. On his flights from North to South and back again, he was always arriving late, because he would stop to look at various sites along the way. Professor Balthazar helped him by explaining all these things which he found so interesting and teaching him. From then on, Pepino led the other storks on the journey as their tour guide.

9. Hat-On Flier
Charlie the Penguin makes the visitors to the zoo laugh with his original dances, and he is a great favorite of theirs. But all the same he is very sad because he can't fly. Professor Balthazar invents a Flying Hat for him. When he puts it on, Charlie can fly as high as any bird.

10. Tenderfeet Centipede
In Balthazar Town all the right-foot shoes suddenly disappear. Professor Balthazar invents an automatic shoe-detector, the Autosniffer, which finds the thief: a centipede who has to walk over some very sharp stones every day.
11. Mike on the Bike

11. Mike on the Bike
The most popular policeman in Balthazar Town becomes the victim of his own conscientiousness. Going about his business he gets so fat that he is no longer good for anything. He loses his job and, what is even worse, his hobby: cross-country cycling to his friend's house who, in the heart of the country-side, plays music with him in an enchanting duo. Professor Balthazar solves his problem.

12. You're Fired
The Mayor of Balthazar Town had had enough of two extremely clumsy firemen, so much so that he forbade them to continue their jobs as firemen. Professor Balthazar found a way of satisfying both the poor firemen and all the other citizens of Balthazar Town.
13. Big-Saw Puzzle

13. Big-Saw Puzzle
In Balthazar Town there is an old wooden bridge which is used by the citizens daily, for strolling and enjoying themselves. But night after night the bridge is mysteriously sawn into-and finally falls into the sea. Professor Balthazar discovers the culprit: a large sword-fish.
