Eddie Mottram is leaving prison today. He’s served his sentence for murder, but has he learned his lesson and is he safe to release back into the community? Probation officer Paula Randall is tasked with managing Eddie as he settles back into life on the outside. But with her checkered history, she may not be up to the task.

Convicted murderer Eddie Mottram claims he’s an innocent man, but his probation officer doesn’t want to hear it. As Eddie’s life desperately spirals downwards, the only person that can help him is Paula. With her job on the line, Paula has to choose whose skin she’s going to save: her own or Eddie’s?

Eddie wants to fight his miscarriage of justice, and Paula wants to help him. But she’ll lose her job, her relationship, and her reputation if she does. When she realizes how much she cares about Eddie, Paula must decide whether it’s all worth risking.
