We will cover the process of setting up a QuickBooks online account. We will go to the QuickBook owner website of Intuit and sign up for a new QuickBooks online account.

We will set up company preferences in QuickBooks Online. After setting up a new company with QuickBooks Online it is important to set up the company preferences before moving forward.

We will set up items in QucikBooks Online. We will set up both service items and inventory items. Items are used when creating invoices and sales receipts.

We will enter customer and customer beginning balances into QuickBooks Online. We will go to the customer center, add new customers, and then add customer beginning balances. We will then look at QuickBOoks Online financial statements to see the effect of the opening customer balance on the financial statements.

We will enter new vendor and their opening balances into QUickBooks Online. We will go to the vendor section of the the accounting software, enter vendors, and add the opening balances owed to the vendors. We will then generate QuickBOoks Online financial statements and analyse the balances from enter the opening vendor balances.
