Police are on the case of the under 25s. Near Ripley, an uninsured van fails to stop forcing the traffic cops into a dangerous off-road pursuit.

Gangs use various tools to steal cash machines. Hydraulic power cutters and saws to cut them out, gas pumped into the cash slots to blow them up, or smashing them out using heavy construction vehicles.

Road Crime Cops Nick Lovatt and Mark Scott from Derbyshire’s Specialist crime unit track drug dealers coming into the county from other areas.

A million pounds worth of vehicles are stolen across Derbyshire every month and it’s often the job of the Traffic Cops to stop the thieves in their tracks.

Derbyshire is prey to organized criminal gangs stealing cars to order, goods from the back of lorries and cash from ATMs. The traffic cops team up with neighboring forces and take the fight to the cross border criminals under a special operation.
