Rayan is upset to see Roshni's name with someone else's on a wedding card. The celebration gives Roshni's father an opportunity to work out his differences with his own father, Hashmat Ali Khan.

As Roshni's wedding festivities begin, Rayan leaves for Dubai. Hashmat Ali forgives his son but loses him to a car accident before they could reunite.

Roshni and her family move into her grandfather's mansion after Wajahat's demise. Rayan remains unaware of Roshni's loss.

Hashmat Ali sets some conditions on the big day, at which the groom's family calls off the wedding.

Safiya convinces Hashmat Ali to get Roshni married to the son of their secretary in a bid to avenge her own deceased brother.

Rayan finds out about the turn of events only after his return to Pakistan. Hashmat Ali is moved to the hospital after his condition deteriorates.

Rayan tells Umar to divorce Roshni. Safiya plots against the newly married couple to send them off with a small share of the inherited wealth.

Amid a heated argument with Rayan and Roshni, Umar decides to end his marriage.

Umar reunites with his lover and Roshni comes to her mother's house.

Just after Rayan's engagement is finalized with Raniya, he learns about her involvement in getting Roshni framed for theft.

Rayan sticks by Roshni when she and Raniya both are rushed to the hospital under different circumstances. This draws major criticism from his family.

Umar plans on settling abroad with his lover. Roshni and her mother get invited to Rayan and Raniya's engagement.

Khadija passes away shortly after Rayan and Roshni tie the knot in her presence. Mariyem's father disapproves of her wish to marry Umar.

Hashmat Ali Khan becomes Roshni's sole guardian after her mother's demise. Safiya asks Hashmat Ali to either call back Umar or send Roshni back to him.
