Random Breath Test

Lana is a P-Plater whose already lost her license once for drink driving.

Craig lives in sunny Tweed Heads and doesn't seem to have a care in the world. He's driving around after drinking heavily and hasn't even bothered to put on a shirt, let alone secure his seatbelt.

P-Plater Scott is pulled into the RBT site late on a Saturday afternoon reeking of alcohol. He initially blows over three times the limit and claims he hasn't had a drink since Friday night.

Hayden is pulled into the site and tests positive to both cannabis and methamphetamine. He is extremely nervous and police suspect there's far more to his story than a positive drug test and the small bag of cannabis he hands over.

Many heavy-vehicle drivers take risks just to stay on the road and stay awake. Police know they often take drugs to get them through their long shifts, but the combination of drugs and big trucks spells disaster on our roads.

A husband and wife are pulled into the RBT site after a night out celebrating at their friends' wedding. The wife blows over the limit roadside and her over- concerned husband follows her into the bus and sits next to her while she undergoes her second test.

Sam is stoned. In fact, he is so affected by cannabis that he can barely string two words together. Amazingly, he got behind the wheel of his car tonight and believes that the penalties for driving under the influence of a drug such as cannabis are too harsh.

Cassie has a dream. She wants to move interstate with her boyfriend to drive giant "Tonka" trucks in the mines. Tonight she's gone out with him for a late night joy-ride to the beach - after they'd both indulged in some Ice. A drug driving charge could shatter Cassie's dreams.
