Scott can’t let his road trip with Mark end on a sour note, so he thought the only way to restore the good faith in their friendship was to keep the road trip going. But driving up to Maine while Mark was sleeping was definitely extreme, even for Scott.

Mark and Scott are back, but this time, the guys are taking their pizza knowledge on the road! The infamous duo kick off their road trip at Joe Squared Pizza in Maryland to catch up with Scott’s friend Chef Joe Edwardsen and get a taste of his crab pizza.

After settling back into the road trip, Mark is ready to hit the road with Scott again. But that doesn’t mean he has to stop giving Scott a hard time! Once Mark gets some good digs in, they get hot dogs at Spike’s Junkyard Dogs in Allston, Massachusetts.

Mark and Scott are back on the road and of course they have to make a pitstop in New Haven, Connecticut, the birthplace of apizza. A typical apizza is made with a thin crust, oregano, and tomato sauce, then sprinkled with pecorino romano cheese.

Scott and Mark decide that the best way to go out with a bang is by letting Mark drive and to try a slice of one of the most polarizing pies in the country: Hawaiian pizza.

After spending the night at Chez Boloney, Scott is ready for more pizza. Missing a busy Saturday night at his restaurant has Mark on edge, but he still needs to eat something before the drive back. And Scott knows just the place for a breakfast pizza!

We made pizza nerd Scott Wiener and pizza maker Mike Hauke, aka Tony Boloney’s, do a taste test challenge on these pizza-flavored snacks to determine which ones actually taste like pizza.

After a conversation with the mechanic, the tire is back on Scott’s pizza-mobile and now, Mark is really ready to get back on the road. And who could blame him? He’s only had pizza to eat for the last 24 hours and he has to get back to his restaurant!

Scott and Mark stop off at Pizza Brain in Philadelphia. Not only is Pizza Brain an award-winning restaurant, but it’s also the first pizza museum in the entire world, showcasing pizza paraphernalia from as early as the 1940’s.

After a good night’s sleep at a hotel, Mark heads to pick up some donuts and coffee for breakfast in a great mood. But when he spots something special on the menu, he realizes he has to get Scott over there immediately!

Before day one of their road trip ends, Mark and Scott make room for one more crazy pizza concoction. For their final slice of the day, Scott and Mark stop in New Jersey to visit the oldest family-owned pizzeria in the United States, Papa’s Tomato Pie.
