Restaurant impossible

After a failed attempt to open a second location, a couple's once-thriving restaurant is buckling under the strain of their finances and marriage. Now, Robert must help the volatile couple work in harmony to save their business.

Through the financial help of their parents, brothers Gabe and Javier own the Knife and Fork Gastropub in San Antonio. Although it appears wildly successful, the restaurant is being run into the ground.

Restaurant: Impossible goes hog wild in Albuquerque, NM, at the Shade Tree Customs and Cafe along Route 66 where Robert Irvine meets a handful of characters who opened a full-service restaurant above their motorcycle repair shop.

Mike and Erika Lowe opened Mystic Treats in Ashland, OR, hoping to attract customers with their vegetarian and offbeat pizzas. Three years and failed concepts later, they've called in Robert Irvine to figure out the mystery.

Robert meets his greatest challenge yet when he takes on Zoog's Caveman Cookin'. The restaurant is repulsively dirty and the owner has lost his passion, but even worse, the government shows up, threatening to shut it down.

Robert travels to Renton, WA, to take on a promising bar with an overwhelmed owner. He'll have two days to give the owner the tools she'll need to toughen up and turn this confused bar into a place worthy of all its patrons.

Robert is back to battling with restaurant owners, but this time it's over an arcade full of video games! He'll have his hands full trying to mend fences between the feisty owners and figuring out what to do with the noisy arcade.
