Steve Dulcich recently splurged on something he’s been hoping to do forever: get a new building for car storage. Watch as he walks you through the plans for this new 100x50-foot gearhead palace on the dusty estate.

Spoiler alert: On this Roadkill Extra, you’ll learn about an upcoming episode of Roadkill Garage and you’ll see one of the vehicles we acquired: a 1965 Ford F-250 4x4 longbed-or “wrongbed.” People often ask why Ford trucks of this era are seen with beds that look like they came from the prior generation of trucks. We find all sorts of amazing places during our road-trip adventures but rarely have time to stop and check them out. This time we did, and this Roadkill Extra shows Steve Dulcich exploring a small collection of old cars that have been sitting neglected in the California desert for many years.

Mike Finnegan’s 1955 Chevy with 535ci blown-Hemi power has become legendary, partially due to Roadkill Episode 70 where the guys had to rebuild the engine in the dragstrip pits. This Roadkill Extra is an extended scene from that episode as the new Hemi is swung back into the car. And just think, the engine has been in and out of the car and rebuilt a second time since this episode was shot.

If you watch Roadkill Garage on Motor Trend OnDemand, you may have seen a mammoth, industrial-looking air compressor in the corner of Steve Dulcich’s shop. That behemoth is homemade, and on this Roadkill Extra you’ll see how Dulcich made it happen.

Here’s an outtake from Roadkill Episode 71, the one with the off-road Hornet. It was as hot as 120 degrees F in the car during shooting, and this Roadkill Extra shows how the guys managed to cool off.

Roadkill Garage host Steve Dulcich is a closet Jeep guy, and after absorbing the Jeep passion off David Freiburger for a couple years, he decided he needed to get another one. On this Roadkill Extra, follow along as Dulcich justifies his love for the rectangular-headlighted Jeep Wrangler YJ and takes you around his clean, new ride.

In December 2017, California was ravaged by wildfires that cost some lives and many homes. While the loss is insignificant in comparison, Roadkill Garage host Steve Dulcich had a 1968 Plymouth Barracuda that burned while stored at a friend’s house.

This week has featured extended scenes from Episode 73 of Roadkill, and now we get into more lighthearted stuff with bloopers and outtakes as the crew fixes our junkyard-rescued 1969 Mustang Mach 1 and drives it from California to Washington.

On Episode 73 of Roadkill, one of the stops that David Freiburger and Mike Finnegan made was a visit to a small junkyard near Fresno, California. On Roadkill Episode 73, David Freiburger and Mike Finnegan attempt to hit the road in the Disgustang, a 1969 Ford Mustang Mach 1 that was rescued from Colorado Auto & Parts’ salvage yard back on Episode 66. They didn’t get far before the engine locked up. This Roadkill Extra reveals the previously unseen minutes leading up to the engine failure.

The most-watched Roadkill episode of 2017 is the one with the Disgustang, our ’69 Mach 1 that was rescued from the salvage yard at Colorado Auto & Parts. Later on, the guys decided to hop in the car for a trip to the Pacific Northwest. You can see all of that on Episode 73, and this week we will bring you a number of outtakes from that epic road trip.

Steve Dulcich hosts both Roadkill Garage and Engine Masters and will also be seen in an upcoming episode of Roadkill. He’s garnered his own niche fan base, so we used that as a excuse to do a solo Q&A with Dulcich as he answers questions from his fans on his @stevedulcich account on Instagram.
