It's summer in Rockridge and the Phams are having a yard sale! Khia and Leo have opposite philosophies when deciding what to sell, with Leo getting rid of all his childhood toys to embrace his teenage years. Andrew becomes the recipient of bribes from community members and does whatever it takes to make it right. Camille and Ramesh struggle to adjust to living under the same roof again.

After a visit to a local Asian Buffet leaves Andrew with a painful gout flare-up, the Phams discover their family doctor retired months ago. Andrew and Camille embark on a challenging search for a new doctor. Meanwhile, Khia befriends a new customer at Bubble Bae, only to find out she's her ex's new girlfriend. Cathy offers Khia relationship advice but ends up learning a lesson from her instead.

The Phams get to spend a weekend at a cottage. Andrew is eager to create core family memories, pushing his activity list filled with all things family fun and nature-y. However, the rest of the Phams have other ideas. Khia's true crime podcast has her on the hunt for a local serial killer, Leo immerses himself in survivalist culture, and Camille would rather use the luxury cottage's amenities.

Andrew goes all out in helping Leo prepare for tryouts for the city's basketball team. But his tactics prove to be a little too much for Leo, who displays his aggression by bullying his teammates. Camille tries to bond with Khia by bringing her in for a mother-daughter segment on Good Morning Gloria. However, tragedy soon strikes when Camille realizes the 'Chef' gene skipped Khia...

Andrew tries to start an early hours nightclub at Bubble Bae for the 35+ crowd who dream of being in bed before 10pm. Camille and cousin Nikhil wage a war on noisy neighbours, only to uncover their own issues around talking about sex.

On Halloween, the Phamily decide to leave their plans to the Halloween fates by flipping a coin - heads, they stay together, tails, they split up. As the coin flips, we watch the two possibilities play out in parallel timelines.

Andrew's parents are upset they haven't been deemed to be the kids' guardians in the will, so he decides to put them to the test to see if they're up for the challenge of modern parenting. Camille frets about Khia's suspiciously good behaviour and with Sam's help tries to lure her into teenage rebellion. Ramesh rebels his own way after being forcibly retired.

Camille is baffled when she encounters Leo's Taekwondo teacher who used to bully her. She tries to rise above her frustrations only to be determined to expose him for being a terrible person. Andrew joins Khia's life drawing class, much to her regret as she's been hiding a new romance. Andrew gets on shockingly well with Khia's new girlfriend, causing Khia to set some hard boundaries.

It's almost Lunar New Year, and Andrew is thrilled when he becomes his mom's new 'Golden Child' after she sees an article written about him. When he learns about his mom's issue with his sister Carol hosting their annual Tet family dinner, he's torn. Meanwhile, Camille helps cure Sam of her unwanted baby-fever by putting her face to face with the challenges of motherhood.

On their long-awaited 'date day,' Camille and Andrew meddle to prevent Hudson and his ex from rekindling their romance. Khia is promoted and works to attract more queer customers, but Cathy's negative reaction prompts her to share her own struggles.

Camille's cookbook launch day unfolds in chaos, with a nervous intern being put in charge, and an unwanted surprise guest. Khia and Leo's bickering leaves them running late, but the Phams rally to help in a surprising and colorful twist. 

After a pregnancy scare, Andrew decides to get a vasectomy. As he draws closer to the day of the procedure, Andrew starts to second guess himself and turns to his buddies, Hudson and Sebastian, to help him make a final decision. Meanwhile, Khia and Camille band together to face off against a sneaky faux-feminist car salesman but find that their different tactics might be the biggest issue of all.

Andrew pitches a revamped summer camp program that would meet the needs of the whole community. But bad advice from a mentor means his summer dreams may be dashed. Camille's cookbook gets a sudden boost from a celebrity fan, prompting her publishers to send her on a nationwide book tour. Khia has her first fight with her new girlfriend, and Leo struggles to express feelings to the girl he likes.
