Petra Tomulkin's father Franz is kidnapped in broad daylight by men driving a car sporting diplomatic plates. She believes her father to be held at the Uranian embassy, and the police steer her in Saber's direction. Starring Ellen Blueth, John le Mesurier, Philip Saville, Guy Deghy, Denis Shaw, John G. Tim Shute allows a gambler friend the use of his flat for an evening to play cards but returns the next day to find him murdered. The companion of rich widow Mrs Verity is found dead by Mrs Kraft, a neighbour, while searching for her cat. Unwilling to call in the police, Mrs Kraft summons Saber and Bob to help - but when they arrive the body is missing. Saber receives a letter from Sir Thomas Winters, lately returned from India where he served on the Viceroy's staff. Joe Kelly arrives from America determined to discover why his fiancée Jane shot herself. Her Uncle William and sister Kathleen say that Jane committed suicide, but Kelly believes otherwise and calls in Saber. Starring Jack Melford, Robert Ayres, Silvia Francis.

Dunphy, a security guard at the London Export Company, surprises an intruder and accidentally kills him. But when the police suspect Dunphy's involvement in shady business, his boss calls in Saber. Mr Shaw becomes highly agitated when four of his buildings are destroyed by fire within a month. The Fire Brigade Investigation Department can find no clues as to who started them, so Shaw calls in Saber to investigate.
