Qirat, a school teacher, visits the beach on a picnic with her class. Things take an unfortunate turn when one of her student gets lost. She is put into detention by the police. Qirat's younger sister Zobia receives a call from her ex-boyfriend Arbaaz who wishes to meet her in exchange promises to return the missing child and help her sister out of jail.

Qirat stays in detention overnight. Zobia agrees to meet Arbaaz. Upon reaching the venue, she sees the police arresting a dangerous criminal which was Arbaaz and recovers the lost child. Qirat is released from prison because of the Mr. Shahwez. She visits Mr. Farooq, her father's boss, to thank him for his support and he offers Qirat a job.

Hassam received a promotion; and comes with sweets at Mr. Hashim's. Zobia refuses to go out to celebrate with others because of Arbaaz's threat. She refuses again to go on Mr. Farooq son's engagement. Arbaz breaks into the house where Zobia is all alone. She panics, hides and calls Hassam. As he gets there, Arbaz pulls out and later threatens Zobia again.

Zobia recalls when she first met Arbaaz. He had appeared outside her college and upon a friend's advice she started to talk to him and they met. Arbaaz took pictures of them together which led to her leaving him. Qirat and Amber upon hearing all this was angry with Zobia and advised her to stop going to college. What was left to decide was whether Qirat should ask for Shahwez's help.

Qirat shows up at the office to discuss her job. Mr. Farooq's son, Wahaj scolds her for being late not knowing that she had not yet started working there. Hassam and Ambar's parents decide to marry them soon. When Mr. Hashim asks Qirat about this she advises to marry Zobia first. Wahaj and Mahira have fallout on some issue.

Qirat wants zobia to get married first for their family's dignity to which her father gets angry and scolds. Things between Wahaj and Mahira gets better. Mr. Hashim calls a friend of his who had sent a proposal for Zobia in the past and she gets engaged. Qirat is given a report to prepare which she completes with the help of Shahwez.

Wahaj is asked to leave for Dubai to expand his father's business and to marry Mahira and he agrees. Mr. Hashim retires. Arbaz sends a letter for Zobia which Qirat receives. To finance this marriage, she applies for a loan at the office. Upon asked about the rush in marriage by her father, Qirat shows him the letter and he faints.

As Mr. Hashim is at the hospitalhe asks Hassam to return home to look after the sisters. Wahaj is unpleased by some reports written by Qirat who is on a leave without application. Qirat thanks Shahwez for loan and Wahaj is shocked. Later upon Zobia and Amber insistence Qirat shows them Arbaaz's letters. Shahwez's mother finds him smiling when talking on the phone to Qirat.

Mr. Hashim was still angry with Zobia because of her affair but then forgives her as she is sorry. Qirat decides to give all her mother's jewelry to Zobia. Qirat sees Iqra at the wedding and is irritated because it was her who motivated Zobia to pursue Arbaaz. Arbaz sends his and Zobia's picture to the groom's parents to stop Zobia from getting married.

As Zobia awaits her marriage, Arbaz's letters containing his & Zobia's pictures are delivered to the groom's parents who are devastated & calls off the wedding. Upon neighbors advise to marry Zobia to any man then & there willing, every gaze turned towards Hassam & although Hassam initially declined, seeing the deterioration in Mr. Hashim's condition, he finally agreed to it.

Amber, Hassam and his mother are extremely hurt because of the marriage. Hassam requests Zobia to be patient with him. Amber consumed sleeping pills and has been taking to the hospital. Shahwez upon knowing this rushes to the hospital for help and deals with the police himself. When Amber gets her consciousness back, Hassam explains to her to accept what has happened as God's will.

Her father feels guilty and under Amber's debt. Qirat is asked to resign by Wahaj. When Shahwez gets to know, he rushes after her and catches her at the office's exit. Qirat tells him about her situation. Later Shahwez confronts Wahaj in front of Mr. Farooq and tells them everything Qirat has been going through which makes him guilty on his decision of resigning her.

Zobia and her mother-in-law visit Mr. Hashim's. Amber acts childishly. Qirat is called to return to the office by Wahaj. Iqra then comes to visit Zobia and asks about Arbaz to which Zobia reacts with anger. Hassam overheard them talking but stays quiet. Shahwez's family hopes to marry him. Qirat is welcomed back to the office, Amber gets visits Zobia which shocks everyone including Qirat.

Amber talks to Zobia about how she unwillingly destroyed her life. Qirat leaves her office early to get Amber back. Preparations for Wahaj and Mahira's wedding are underway. Hassam is shocked to find Amber at home. Qirat receives a call from Shahwez who tells her that he will be leaving city and they have a conversation. Hassam's mother asks Zobia to accept Hassam as she is his wife.

When leaving office, Qirat's car doesn't start so Wahaj drops her & he is home late leaving Mahira waiting. Qirat calls Hassam & discusses Amber's behavior. Someone rings home gate & as Zobia goes to receive, her mother-in-law doubts her intentions but founds no one at the door. Later Hassam visits Amber's but leaves from the front gate after seeing Amber open the door.

Shahwez comes to Qirat's cabin like always. Wahaj calls Qirat to her office and returns her car keys while asking if she is feeling fine which makes Qirat feel something's off. Mr. Hashim goes to the marriage bureau for Amber which he later tells Qirat about. Amber calls Hassam who explains her to stop doing so and she asks him to be there when the family visits to see her next day.

Amber is waiting for Hassam to show up which he does not. She then declines the proposal of the family who are angered by their waste of time. Hassam shows up outside to pick mother and Zobia and makes an excuse for not showing up. Wahaj again behaves too kindly with Qirat who's left muddled. Shahwez's mother finds out that Shahwez has fallen for Qirat.

Shahwez's mother doesn't accept Qirat. When Amber shows up, she & Zobia asks her to behave properly around Hassam. Zobia & her mother-in-law starts to think that Hassam should marry Amber, but he sticks by his decision. Eishal tries to strain Wahaj & Mahira's relation & gets to Mahira's head. To settle their regular fallouts, Mr. Farooq decides to marry them fast.

Qirat thinks of telling her father about Shahwez but she doesn't. Zobia returns home with all her belongings and fights with Amber. Amber sees the opportunity and leaves for Hassam's house. Eishal calls Wahaj and Mahira saying that she has been in an accident. As Mahira arrives, Eishal falls onto Wahaj acting like she is hurt, Mahira misunderstands the situation and leaves in anger.

Zobia wants a divorce while Amber refuses to come back home. She deceives Hassam's mother into staying. Hassam returns from his trip and is shocked to see Amber. Mahira taunts Wahaj referring Eishal. Eishal visits Wahaj in his office. He is tensed and scolds Qirat who leaves her job because of the pressure. Shahwez is angry at his family for going against Qirat.

Shahwez's mother is against him marrying Qirat. Mr. Hashim gets new job. Shahwez proposes Qirat for marriage but she asks for some time to decide. Hassam returns to the city and comes to take Zobia back who refuses to return. Eishal again provokes Mahira by claiming that Wahaj confides in her. When Hassam finally asks Amber to leave his house, Amber picks a knife to her hand in retaliation.

Mahira is extremely jealous of Wahaj's conversation with Eishal. These misunderstandings end when Mr. Farooq announces their marriage date on Mahira's birthday and Mahira reacts by breaking her relationship with Wahaj, disturbing both families. Soon after, Mahira realizes her mistake when Eishal tells her that she has interest in someone else now.

Shahwez wanted to send a proposal for Qirat but his mother caused a lot of problems. To remove Qirat his mother made plans. Amber is angry upon hearing that Hassam has a daughter. She tried to contact Hassam everyday but failed. Later Shahwez's mother calls Mr. Hashim with a proposal for Qirat. Unfortunately, she realized that the proposal was not from Shahwez.

Qirat was shocked by Wahaj's proposal and visits Wahaj who himself isn't aware of this. Wahaj then forwards this news to Shahwez who is extremely unhappy with his mother. The next day when Shahwez's mother visited Qirat and had brought Shahwez as the groom there and not Wahaj. She belittles Qirat and keeps conditions for the marriage which disturbes Mr. Hashim's family.
