Don's a high-school loner doing all he can to bury his turbulent family life. He keeps it bottled up until he meets Becca, the school's theatre reject. Together, they form a rag-tag bond and decide to put on their own theatre production: a gargantuan jungle epic. As their nightmarish stresses rise, their relationship threatens to crumble.
