Seaside Hotel

The regulars are back at the hotel, and they have brought more than just their clothes with them – they packed their troubles, too.

A person with news about the missing Morten appears at the hotel. Amanda and Ditmar return to the hotel with Ditmar's mother after the funeral. Madsen is trying to find new financiers for his construction project.

Madsen pawns his wife's jewellery to get his project off the ground, resulting in a marital crisis. Weyse does his best to protect Kitty when Frigh approaches the girl. Molly and Fie find a reason to contact Morten.

Amanda and Ditmar agree on how to work with their behind-the-scenes marriage. Weyse receives an anonymous letter threatening his career at the theatre.

Max and Frigh are both suffering from heartbreak. Max, because Amanda is cold to him after his quarrel with Ditmar's mother, and Frigh, because Kitty Hansen has travelled back to Copenhagen.

Frigh visits Kitty in Copenhagen and decides to return to the hotel and put his cards on the table. How do you tell your wife that you're leaving her? Frigh seeks advice from Weyse.

It's now autumn. Edward Weyse has been fired from the theatre. He is approached by Amanda, who has a job as an assistant to the self-absorbed and bad-tempered film director Gerhard Flügelhorn.
