Shogun's Samurai

After the death of the second Tokugawa shogun Hidetada, his sons Iemitsu and Tadanaga shed family blood over the succession of the dynasty. Iemitsu's swordmaster Munenori Yagyu leads the Yagyu clan with his oldest son Jubei Yagyu and lends their swords to Iemitsu as they throw themselves into a bloody conflict...

The fierce battle between Iemitsu and Tadanaga is getting more heated. Jubei leads a team on an ambush, which turns out to be a trap with dire consequences.

Juubei has recovered from his wounds and rejoined his family. With a cunning plan set by the Yagyus, the battle between Iemitsu and Tadanaga finally reaches its climax.

Iemitsu has been instated as Shogun, but there are still forces that want to target him. The Yagyus must now protect him from a ruthless ninja clan known as The Onibis.

Under the strict rule of the new Shogun, many samurais were suddenly outcast and became Ronins. A group of rogue Ronins kept an inn under hostage in a plot to overthrow the current shogunate.

Iemitsu attempts to solidify the bond between the shogunate and the imperial court by offering his sister to be the consort of the emperor. A series of conspiracies led to the formation of the notorious Ura-yagyu group, led by Jubei.

Jubei is sent on a search and rescue mission to retrieve his missing uncle. Unbeknownst to him, it was a setup and he is forced to make a hard choice.

The shogun falls in love with a mysterious woman who Jubei suspects to be a spy. With the Shogun's life on the line, Jubei and his ura-yagyus must hurry to find the truth before its too late.

The shogunate keeps tightening its iron grip upon the Daimyos. Lord Izu plans to use a recent scandal to abolish the Kato clan, and they have to rely once more on the Ura-Yagyus to maintain peace in the country.

The Yagyus are involved in a tragic conflict between the family of a bride and a corrupt government official. A series of manipulations finally led Jubei to confront The shogun himself.
