A Mexican land owner offers to save Chad Stark from death by hanging. In return, Stark must find the man's runaway son, Fidel, who has joined a group of outlaws. By fooling the outlaws into believing he will set up a train robbery, Stark is able to force Fidel along a perilous journey home where a horrible secret lies in wait.
