Sol returns to Zenzele after his time in prison. His return creates themes of toxic masculinity and the root causes of gender-based violence. Meanwhile Reggie, Bongi and Ipeleng's lives collide with new characters and coming to terms with adulthood.

Zamo is excited to launch her new nail bar but a last minute supplier mishap forces her to make a new arrangement. Khensani devises a way to disrupt Sol's plans. And Q, who is besotted by Dineo, is shocked to discover her secret life.

Sol's taxi rights are revoked, so he seeks a more nefarious means of income. Meanwhile, Zamo meets with Andile to discuss business but receives an offer of a more personal nature, and Q confronts Dineo about her secret.

Unbeknownst to Ipeleng, brother Lemo starts drug dealing. Arabeng still believes her medication are 'bone pills', so Nomalanga encourages Neliswa to tell her the truth. Meanwhile, Bongi continues on her path of life and living positively.

As Zamo discovers there's more to life than business, Sol comes face to face with his past. Meanwhile, Ipeleng and Daniel grow closer, Q and Dineo try to make it work, Bongi ghosts Masego, and Reggie finally sees his father, which doesn't end well.

Q's plan to impress Dineo falls flat and comes at a massive cost, and Lemo is harassed by some young thugs after his quick-thinking plan to sell them drugs goes horribly wrong.

Lemo is in the hospital and Ipeleng is beside herself with worry. Arabeng and Thuli are shocked by Lemo's stabbing, while Abel blames himself for the event. However, Cynthia encourages him to care for his own son as much as he cares for his student.

Whilst Ipeleng makes a rash decision, Sol and Amahle have a heart to heart, and Q has to deal with the consequences of his actions. Zamo sees something that causes her world to come crashing down.

As Andile refuses to leave Zamo alone after she breaks things off, Zamo is forced to take matters into her own hands. Q finds his second wind after he's kicked out of college, Sol is done with drug dealing, and Lemo is finally out of danger.

Q's idea for a Sports Centre brings the community together. Meanwhile, Reggie comes face to face with disapproving father Abel, Zamo is determined to keep Andile away from her, and tragedy awaits Sol and Thuli.
