Single dads Mike and Jake invite women they’ve only met online to move in with them and their respective children. Sparks fly immediately for Mike and Valene while Jake and Ami suffer through an awkward first encounter.

When a babysitter falls through, Mike brings Mikey on his first date with Valene. Jake and Ami struggle to connect causing Jake to do something drastic, and Jason invites Sarah to live with him and his two daughters.

A furious Ami wonders if Jake is coming back home after he stays out all night, while Mike and Valene prepare for Mikey's birthday party. Denise shares a personal secret with John, and Paul tells Kallie how many kids he has.

Valene meets Mikey's mom at his birthday party and tensions flare. Kallie considers backing out of going to Mississippi to meet Paul and his kids while Denise finally meets John and his son, and one of them has a meltdown.

Jake and Ami share a romantic evening, and Denise babysits a rambunctious Elijah. Kallie confronts Paul whether he's brought her to Mississippi for the right reasons, while Valene's frustration grows with Mike.

Mike and Valene go from hot to ice-cold, while John and Denise share an intimate moment. Jason's daughter Sidney doesn't want a replacement Mom, and things heat up for Paul and Kallie when they talk about sex.

The couples decide whether to continue on with their relationships or split apart. John and Denise share Thanksgiving together, and Sarah meets Jason's ex. Paul meets Kallie's family, and Jake questions his relationship with Ami.
